This is the general plan. The idea of the direction and the style a garden or property will take. Even if there is no thought of completing the whole plan at one time, the Plan lets you and the contractor know where the design is headed even if today you are only doing ta piece of the whole. For the unity of the overall feel, it is good to know where you are headed, even if it changes.
